  • Salary: $20.21 - $25.21 Hourly
Responsibilities of Staff Accountant are:
  • Performs daily accounting functions, providing accurate and timely financial reporting to ensure practices are in accordance with accepted accounting practices and LBS policy and procedures. 
  • Balances schedules and reconciles accounts as delegated by Controller. 
  • Prepares credit card reconciliation and expense report analysis and makes related journal entries, as assigned.
  • Performs accurate and timely reconciliation of manufacturer open account statements, as assigned.
  • Review and post new/used bus deals and reconcile their schedules, as assigned.
  • Prepares and processes all warranty claims adjustments, as assigned. 
  • Reconciles warranty schedules, as assigned.
  • Prepares and posts other entries as assigned. 
  • Assists in the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
Minimum Requirements of the Staff Accountant position are: 
  • Associates degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Computer proficiency in web-based programs and applications, Microsoft Office Suite applications and related departmental software, with preference toward dealer management system (DMS) experience, to include researching and looking up information.
  • Demonstrates dealership and financial and accounting knowledge.
