The Broome County Urban League is on corner of Main St and Mather St in the city of Binghamton.
The Mission of the Broome County Urban League is to enable minorities and the urban poor to secure economic self-reliance, parity and power, and civil rights.
We focus primarily on youth, focusing to the needs of kids ages 5-21 through after-school and summer programming, tutoring/mentoring, technology classes, and workforce development. However, we cater to all ages. As well, we offer comprehensive referral services to other community agencies and private industries.
The Broome County Urban League also provides appropriate services to people in need of rental assistance, utility bill help, employment, food, and job training and placement.
