Embedded Cyber Security Engineer III

We are all familiar with the various protections of connected devices from the simple malware tools to complex firewalls. Embedded devices such as Avionic controls systems provide new and different challenges that create a continuous evolution of tools and processes. ENSCO is looking for individuals experiences in information verification and Cyber studies at the embedded controls level.

ENSCO Avionics, Inc. is seeking Cyber Security Engineers with experience in threat assessment, vulnerability analysis, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) on embedded systems. The work performed will include the front-end development of security plans, security concepts of operation, tractability matrix, test procedure development, and creation of vulnerability assessments. Follow on work will include threat modeling, product testing, and posttest analysis.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; minimum 3 years' relevant experience
  • Experience with Cyber based vulnerability and threat analysis
  • Experience with Cyber based test and analysis procedures
  • Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
Qualifications Desired
  • Experience with STIG tools and procedures
  • Experience Cybersecurity policies with DOD or intelligence community
  • Experience with Cyber Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Experience with Configuration systems such as IBM Rational Synergy and/or Apache Subversion (SVN)
  • Experience with Requirements Tools such as IBM Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
