We need a very organized and motivated person to
- answer the phone,
- communicate with customers and code officials
- do solar paperwork (permits, grant applications and utility interconnection forms)
- and do light marketing.
Light marketing includes things such as keeping up our Facebook page, doing a monthly newsletter, creating the occasional postcard for direct mailing and planning our yearly Solar Power Party.
Our paperwork processes are now well established and straightforward to learn, but we do deal with a couple of dozen municipalities and 4 different utilities, so it’s always interesting.
Since most paperwork and communication is done electronically, it is important to have excellent computer skills. This includes familiarity with email, social media, word-processing, electronic document handling and dealing with on-line forms and portals.
Experience with navigating paperwork processes is desired. Project management experience or experience dealing with bureaucracies would be very helpful.
