- Provide administrative assistance with the preparation of specifications, using AIA and EJCDC front-end documents. Specification development programs such as Deltek Specpoint MasterSpec/Construction Specifications. During the design phase and bidding, additional job responsibilities involve communication with printing company and plan houses; compilation of addendas; coordination with bidders on Request for Clarification, pre-bid meeting minutes, bid tabulations, and AIA and EJCDC Agreements between Owner and Contractors.
- Correspondence, logging and processing submittals, meeting minutes, field reports, contractor payment applications, request for information, proposal requests, change proposals and change orders, and project closeout documentation. Communicate with the Client, Contractor, Construction Manager, Architect, Engineer, Consultants and public agencies.
- Maintain filing systems (paper and electronic).
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a workload of multiple projects with various staff members simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and math skills and highly motivated.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Adobe Acrobat Pro and Bluebeam; SpecText, SpecPoint/Masterspecs; AIA and EJCDC Contract Documents Program; on-line Construction Management Programs.
