Binghamton University will host the fourth annual Wenzel Memorial 5k on Saturday, September 28, in honor of Gregg Wenzel ‘91, a former student-athlete and CIA operative who passed away in 2003. The event, open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community, will include a 5k run/walk around campus. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in various age categories. Pre-registration begins in August, with those registering by September 6 receiving a free t-shirt.

Race-day registration starts at 7:45 a.m., and the race begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.
Location
Race check-in and on-site registration will be held at the West Gym's Gregg Wenzel Memorial Statue on Bearcat Blvd.
Fees/Admission
Fees are $10 for students and $20 for others, including a t-shirt (if registered by September 6) and post-race refreshments. Participants must be 13 years or older.
