NYS Budget: What It Means for Businesses and Taxpayers

MicroNet Templatesupport2025-02-18T20:53:31-05:00

The New York State budget was passed on April 7th, and marks the largest budget on NYS record. This $212 billion spending proposal is a 10% increase on what the Governor proposed just a few months ago. While there are some good parts in the budget for business, the scope of this budget should give us pause.

Join us for a presentation from Justin Wilcox, the Executive Director of Upstate United and EJ McMahon the Senior Fellow and Founder at the Empire Center for Public Policy. Justin will discuss some of the positives and negatives of this year’s budget from the business communities standpoint. EJ will then dive into some of the budget numbers and what they mean for New York taxpayers and businesses.
