Join AOP for an overview of the use of Medicaid to pay for long tern care needs. If you s spouse, a parent, or loved one is in a nursing home, we will review the eligibility criteria for Medicaid to pay for the stay. Topics will include an introduction to financial guidelines, 5 year lookback, and spousal impoverishment laws. You will also learn about Medicaid Managed Long Term Care plans, services and support.
