Expand your understanding of data analytics using Excel. The Excel Spreadsheets: Tables, Pivots, and Data Management course covers the intermediate level concepts and applications of spreadsheets in business, health sciences, and service industries. Students will use Excel to learn to generate reports from multiple worksheets and workbooks, manage data with data tools including tables and filters, create interactive dashboards, and summarize data with PivotTables and PivotCharts. Students who complete this course with satisfactory scores on assessments will be eligible for the Spreadsheets: Tables, Pivots, and Data Management badge. Students must have a basic background in Excel before taking this course. Excel Spreadsheets: Fundamentals is highly recommended as a prerequisite. Software: Windows version of Excel 365/Excel 2019/Excel 2021 Textbook: TBA Learning Outcomes: • Demonstrate proficiency with pivot tables and pivot charts • Manage data by creating dashboards with data tools including tables, filters, subtotal functions, and slicers • Apply formulas across multiple worksheets and workbooks and manage links across documents • Use templates to facilitate management of data across multiple workbooks This class is online asynchronous (work at your own pace).
