Diversity Dialogue Session 1: Why Behind DEI
Featuring: Glenn Jackson, Chief Diversity Officer, M&T Bank
Join our New Years resolution of becoming a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace to enhance your workforce and business success. Our Diversity Dialogue series is a brand-new program that will help to provide six 1-hour sessions of facilitated discussions to help our area businesses in the beginning stages of their DEI journey. These facilitated discussions will encourage businesses to start their own DEI Initiatives without fear of judgement.
Our first session, sponsored by DEI Champion Sponsor, M&T Bank, will help those who are in the initial stages of implementing DEI and need the answer to the question, “Why?” What is the why behind becoming a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace? Why will it help your organization and community to become more successful? Learn more through a facilitated discussion with Glenn Jackson, Chief Diversity Officer of M&T Bank about the Why Behind DEI. Glenn Jackson is responsible for advancing M&T’s efforts in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion for all colleagues across the company. He also plays a key role in promoting the partnership between M&T Bank and the Western New York Community.
