The DEI Book Club can help you sharpen your thinking, keep you accountable, and be a place to meet other professionals on the DEI journey. Educate yourself on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics and participate in a quarterly 1-hour facilitated group book discussion. Attendees will have time to purchase and read the books in advance and attend the discussion session virtually.
Our fourth session is a title picked by our DEI Champion Sponsor company IBM. Maeve Carpenter, IP Attorney, Manager, IBM Patent Center at Endicott will lead us through a discussion of the book, "This Chair Rocks" by Ashton Applewhite.
Purchase the book in any format that you best consume content: hard copy, ebook, audiobook etc. You can read the book anytime between now and October 27th.
Join Maeve Carpenter for an interactive leadership session on October 27th, via zoom, where she will share her own insights and stories, and answer any questions you've had throughout the book. You don't want to miss this!
Participation is free. Please register by October 26th to receive access to the Zoom link information.
