On August 13th, the Chamber is partnering with the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board’s Office of Business Advocacy to educate area businesses and nonprofits about workers’ compensation benefits in New York State.

- Overview of Workers’ Compensation, Disability Benefits & Paid Family Leave.
- WC, DB & PFL considerations regarding telecommuting staff, Interns, family members, undocumented workers, part-time staff and independent contractors.
- Subcontractors and workers’ compensation.
- Tips to lower premiums and get better claims results, etc.
