DESCRIPTION:BingConnect is a program curated for the college student working in the Greater Binghamton community during the summer. Events and outings are designed to help them experience our business community together by introducing them to other interns\, young professionals\, and community leaders through educational and fun events. This year's program will be a hybrid format between in-person and virtual events.\n\n\n\n**Business Professionals are invited to join a networking hour at the kickoff event on June 17th! Register here if you'll be attending from 9-10am only. \n\n \n\nProgram dates (full program includes all 5 events): \n\n\n\nKickoff Day\n\nJune 17 from 9AM-1PM\n\nCollege students employed at a variety of local businesses will be welcomed to our community at the summer BingConnect Kickoff Day! This is a great opportunity for your company to engage your summer talent in a meaningful way. Lunch will be provided!\n\n \n\nInnovation Tour\n\nJune 22nd at 4PM\, Koffman Southern Tier Incubator\n  Get a tour of the Incubator in downtown Binghamton\, a state-of-the-art facility where start-ups are supported and grown\n\n\n\nInside the C-Suite\n\nJuly 1st at 8AM\, Virtual\n  Join the discussion with two local CEO's\, Joe Hashey and Jeff Lake and get an inside perspective on how local leaders act\, think and execute based on Stephen Covey's book\, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People." You don't need to have read it to find the conversation valuable. \n\n\n\nLunch and Learn Leadership Session\n\nWeek of July 6th at 12PM\, Virtual via Zoom\n  Bring your lunch to this virtual lunch and learn session! Make sure you're making the most of your internship and continue to build on the relationships you've made.\n\n\n\nOPTIONAL: HYPE Awards\n\nThursday\, July 15 at 5:30 - 7:30 PM\n  Join us in celebrating and recognizing the success of our young professional community!\n\n  Discount code offered for in-person ticket\n\n\n\nIntern Send-off\n\nThursday\, August 5th at 6PM\, Chuckster's\n  Play a round of mini-golf with your new connections and celebrate the completion of your summer internships!
