ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has exciting opportunities for Avionics Systems Engineers skilled in full life cycle development for Avionic Engine and Flight Control Systems in Endicott, NY. Positions will focus on understanding end-user needs and required functionality early in the development cycle, generate and document requirements, then lead/ participate in completing the rest of the development lifecycle cycle from design through Requirements compliance testing. Other areas of focus are system Electronic Design element of the Interface Control Document (ICD) which will require working with internal and customer Engineering staff, and industry best practices for Systems Engineering and development processes with the goal of providing a quality product that will drive the engineering designs. Qualifications Required (Skills)
•U.S. Citizenship required
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience ; minimum 3 years' relevant experience
•Experience with Avionic systems engineering process
•Skilled in full life cycle development
•Experience with System level Requirements generation
•Experience with System Interface Control Document (ICD) nomenclature and System Electronic Design
•Requirements management experience using IBM Rational DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System) or similar tool

Qualifications Desired
•Experience on DoD/Military programs
•Communications systems experience such as Controller Area network (CAN), ARINC, MIL-STD-1553, TTP, and AFDX
•Systems integration in lab environment
•Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
•Formal verification Test plan development
•Expereince working with the Hardware Design Spec (HDS), but not designing
