ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a software engineer skilled in Model-Based Design of embedded control system software. The right candidate will be part of a technical team that supports Model-Based Development activities for real-time mission and safety critical embedded control systems. The work utilizes MathWorks Simulink to create C-based software for the simulation environment. The task will include the generation and review of models, and the associated verification efforts required to satisfy Airborne safety requirements. Qualifications Required (Skills)
•U.S. Citizenship required
•Some formal academic/technical training with 6 months of relevant experience such as formal academic projects or internship/ co-op experience
•Experience with Simulation tools such as MathWorks Simulink
•Experience with C Software design
•Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
•Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments
•Bachelor degree or equivalent degree/experience
•Experience with formal requirements and developing software test cases and procedures.
•Experience with Configuration systems such as IBM Rational Synergy and Apache Subversion (SVN)
