Job Description
ENSCO Avionics, Inc. in Endicott, NY is seeking a mid-level candidate for Mechanical Engineering support and analysis of Avionics Engine and Flight control computer assemblies and associated hardware. The assemblies will be utilized for next generation aircraft controls utilized in Boeing and Airbus high capacity passenger air transit systems. Designs will utilize mechanical drawing toolsets and documentation will be configured and controlled in the Windchill system. Throughout the cycle the position will utilize industry best practice systems engineering and development processes and will consider both the business and the technical needs of the end-user with the goal of providing a quality product that satisfies those needs. Position will be an integral part of a diverse development team.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree or work experience; minimum 2 years' relevant experience required
• Experience with mechanical design of electromechanical assemblies
• Experience of mechanical analysis of production failures
• Experience with vibration and thermal analysis of mechanical designs
• Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments
• Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Desired Skills
• Experience with PRO-E or CREO Software
• Experience with Commercial/Military Avionic systems engineering process
• Automotive Mechanical Design
• Windchill Document Management tool experience

Education/Years of Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; minimum 2 years' relevant experience
