The Jewish Community Center of Binghamton will be hosting a performance of “The Marvelous Wonderettes” on Sunday, November 11th, at 3:00 PM. Admission is $15 per person. Directed and choreographed by Shannon DeAngelo, and performed by Maddie Adams, Milaya Colwell, Kiyara Lewis, and Katie Rundell, all from Seton Catholic Central, the show taps into the memories of High School drama, revisiting old friendships, grudges, love and heartbreak. The performers are accompanied by a group of musicians, including Jan DeAngelo, Musical Director for the production. Funny, heartfelt and an entertaining and nostalgic performance of classic 50’s and 60’s pop music, “The Marvelous Wonderettes” highlights over 20 chart-topping hits of the era, including “Son of a Preacher Man,” “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me”, “It’s My Party, and “Respect.” Performance rights for “The Marvelous Wonderettes” are handled exclusively by Stage Rights, www.stagerights.com. “The Marvelous Wonderettes” was written and created by Roger Bean, with musical arrangements by Brian William Baker, orchestrations by Michael Borth, and vocal arrangements by Roger Bean and Brian William Baker. The show was originally directed by Roger Bean, and choreographed by Bets Malone.
