The Jewish Community Center of Binghamton will be holding a Parent-Child Yoga class beginning on Tuesday, May 7th, 2019, from 5:30 – 6:00 PM. The class will be held Tuesdays through June 18th, for a total of seven classes. The cost is $25 for members and $40 for non-members of the center, with the price including one parent and one child. Children must be at least five years old to participate, and there is no experience necessary. The entire community is welcome and encouraged to attend. Participants will be guided through the class by Youth and Adult Programming Coordinator, Harry Cohen. Cohen is a certified Pediatric Yoga instructor, and regularly teaches children’s yoga, as well as other youth activities, at the JCC. The class provides an excellent opportunity for family bonding and de-stressing after long, hectic days. In addition to learning the basics of flow yoga over the course of the class, participants will have a half-hour of fun, laughter, and relaxation.
