JCC presents Binghamton Baroque Orchestra

The Jewish Community Center of Binghamton will be hosting an outdoor music event, Music on the Lawn, on August 20, 2017. Local group, the Binghamton Baroque Orchestra, will be playing from 6 to 7 PM. There is no cost to attend, but the center will be accepting donations. The entire community is welcome and encouraged to attend. The Binghamton Baroque Orchestra is a newly formed local orchestra, conducted by Jeff Wahl. The orchestra performs selections of classical music from the Baroque period, ranging from the 1600’s through 1750’s. Selections for the concert include pieces by classical composers such as Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Georg Phillip Telemann. Included in the performance is a harpsichord duet featuring local performers Jan DeAngelo and Jim Eisenberg.
