Event Description:
Learn how scaffold law, workers’ compensation, project labor agreements, prevailing wage, wicks law and other policies in new york are negatively impacting business in upstate and how we are addrressing those concerns.

Moderator
Greg Biryla, Executive Director, Unshackle Upstate.  Unshackle Upstate has advocated for broad regulatory reform in New York State for a number of years and Greg has been the voice of this reform.  Greg has broad knowledge on all these topics and will introduce the panel.

Speakers
Brian Sampson, President, Associated Builders and Contractors, Empire State Chapter.  Brian is responsible for coordinating ABC’s political and policy agenda, and advocating for regulatory reform in state government, specifically for the construction and trades industry.  Brian will talk about Wicks Law, Project Labor Agreements and the Prevailing wage and its effects on construction.

More speakers will be added soon to talk about the statewide effects of Scaffold Law and New York State’s Health Care Reform Act on business growth and success.
