Meet Our Speakers!
Erin Taylor-Talcott- "Don't even bother, they'll never let you do it"
Throughout my career I've been told "no" many times. Each time I've refused to accept that as an answer and have fought for what I've believed is right. What I've learned along the way can help women stand up and be strong and fight for themselves and what is right.
Faith Sigler- "The ABC's of Success!"
Whether you are just starting your career or business, are a seasoned professional or making the transition to your next venture- this refreshing look at the building blocks of success can be a great jump start and give your Business and Personal life renewed energy!
Kerstin Driscoll- "Saving Cinderella"
Fewer years in the workforce, earning lower wages and living longer lives are the greatest obstacles that prevent women from retiring timely and comfortable. Resources for support, education and guidance can be a challenge. Thinking about money and retirement differently.
Kristen Mann- "The heART of the Hustle"
Women’s lives are very busy when it comes to today's standards. We can have the same if not more opportunities as men do. When you pour your heart into your hustle of being a woman first you become an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. There is an art to finding our purpose and I am here to teach what I know. Women will get the chance to take a look at what their purpose is in a fun, creative and interactive session. As women, we were created to love, but also maintain the structure of our homes. Identity is the core drive and force for us to be successful in all areas of our lives.
Shane Armstrong- "Women in American Combat"
As a 22 year old 2nd lieutenant, I deployed to Iraq as a platoon leader for 15 months. I led convoys in and around Baghdad and was the only female in my battalion that did this. During these convoys, I received a marriage proposal, my convoy got lost, and we were hit by improvised explosive devices. Of more than 2.7 million Americans that have served in Iraq or Afghanistan since 2001, only an estimated 300,000 of those have been women. These wars forced everyone, including female leaders to engage in combat. Those experiences and lesson learned have translated to an ability to lead in the civilian world, including in male-dominated fields.
Lunch includes: Salads, breads, fresh fruit, hummus and chilled grilled veggies
