Brookdale Vestal West, an Assisted Living Community for residents with Alzheimer’s/Dementia is excited to announce the "Blast Off 2 School" school supply drive. We will be providing 25 backpacks and grade appropriate school supplies to a classroom in need. Individuals, organizations and businesses can help by donating school supplies through August 31. The residents of our Community will be assembling and bringing them to the classroom during the first week of school. This will truly make a difference in these children’s’ lives. The following items are what is needed: · Dry Erase Markers · Backpacks (boys and girls) · Loose-leaf Notebook Paper (wide ruled) Single subject notebook · Markers · Pocket Folders · Pencils (#2 and mechanical) · Colored Pencils (24 count) · Tissue Box School supplies can be dropped off at Brookdale Vestal West located at 421 Plaza Drive, Vestal, NY.
